Yesterday the Gold Coast Suns announced that they have parted ways with coach Stuart Dew. Bernie Vince has disclosed on the Rush Hour with Bernie, Blewey & Jars, that former Melbourne coach Paul Roos wanted Stuart Dew to replace his role.
“I don’t know if many people know this” says Bernie.
“Paul Roos when he was at Melbourne, needed a coach that was going to take over…He said Stuart Dew would be perfect for this.”
“He (Stuart Dew) was right up there with the best assistants at the time.”
