Yesterday the Gold Coast Suns announced that they have parted ways with coach Stuart Dew. Bernie Vince has disclosed on the Rush Hour with Bernie, Blewey & Jars, that former Melbourne coach Paul Roos wanted Stuart Dew to replace his role.

“Paul Roos when he was at Melbourne, needed a coach that was going to take over…He said Stuart Dew would be perfect for this.”
