Rugby league journalist Ben Dobbin has put his thinking cap on to solve the NRL’s issue of clubs resting players on the eve of the finals.
Dozens of players are being rested this weekend with the finals starting next week, so Dobbo has come up with a new finals format that could give the players from the top teams a break while keeping interest in the comp.
