RLPA boss Clint Newton has spoken out over the competition’s controversial CBA drama in a heated on-air interview on Triple M’s Sunday Sin Bin.

Newton addressed the RLPA’s concerns, including the reasons behind the controversial player media strike before things took a turn when league legend Gorden Tallis and leading NRL journalist James Hooper went head-to-head with the RLPA chief.
“I think a big part of this is about power and control, and also your (Clint Newton) ego,” Hooper said.
