Mary from Penrith experienced this first hand as her mother was subject to a long and cruel con job.
First she got approached on Twitter, then it Jumped to Facebook

It’s not the first time this has occurred, nor will it be the last.
There have been numerous reports of people being impersonated by celebrities online to try and gain access to their bank accounts.
Unfortunately for Mary, this particular scam has had dire consequences for her family.
