Wendell Sailor on The Rush Hour believes this season is the one star player Kalyn Ponga will take control at Newcastle Knights, yet he isn’t too confident in the team’s future this season.

‘He’s their man,’ said Sailor.
‘Him going to five-eighth, there’s going to be a lot based around him.
‘That’s why he’s on $1 million.’
Though many pundits and fans believe the best Knights side is one that gets the best out of the talented player, Sailor isn’t sure it will be enough for the Novacastrian outfit.
‘I want them to do well, it’s just the way I see it.’
