Marto’s solution for Raiders v Dolphins golden point refereeing blunder

Following last Saturday’s Raiders and Dolphins golden point showdown, the NRL’s head of football Graham Annesley has admitted the incorrect call was made against the Dolphins in their golden point loss to Canberra.

Annesley has said he wishes the league ‘could change’ a missed knock-on call prior to the winning field goal in Canberra’s win over the Dolphins.

Marto from Triple M’s Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan says it’s not too late and with both the Dolphins and the Raiders in town for Magic Round this week thinks this mistake can be rectified with a rematch.

LISTEN NOW:

Annesley said referee Peter Gough’s call was incorrect, as his view of the knock on was obscured, but the sideline officials should have pulled the play up.
