Three time premiership winner Luke Keary has decided to hang up the boots at the season’s end after a brilliant career.
Wendell Sailor was proud of the Roosters half for the having the courage and foresight to prioritize his family and health over footy.
“Big call, I’m really proud of Luke. You know it’s like Boyd Cordner and [Jake] Friendy these players, you know they’re Premiership players but they understand that their health is more important than a game of football.” said Sailor
“It’s a tough one we could see it coming and with the emergence of Sam Walker now too you know, he knows it’s the right time to go.”
