Jason Demetriou’s exit from South Sydney could be only days away after another bitterly disappointing loss.
Brent Read revealed the South Sydney Rabbitohs board will meeting this week to decide his immediate fate.
“Well obviously it’s dark days at South Sydney after that performance, it was pretty dire.” said Read
“Souths have got a board meeting on Tuesday night, I’m not sure anything will happen before then.”
“They gave Jason a bit more time a couple of weeks ago when they had the bye, they brought in Dave Furner to help him but when you look at that performance I mean they’re in a really difficult position again.”
“So we’ll have to see how it plays out in the next couple of days.”
