One of NRL’s most memorable incidents occurred with LiSTNR’s own Josh Reynolds in 2014.
Playing for Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at the time, Grub infamously threw the ball forward to a Gold Coast Titans player assuming the referee would blow for half-time.
Reynolds ran down the tunnel but the referee blew a penalty for a deliberate forward pass.
It led to one of the most confusing moments in rugby league history as Grub was nowhere to be seen.
A moment he lived to regret as his teammates and coach Des Hasler was furious!

“You know when you have tiffs with your teammates,” started Grub.
“I was getting dirties from all the boys, I felt really weird.
“They were really off me.”
Reynolds explains the story in full in the audio clip above, and what coach Des Hasler, famous for sprays, said to him at the break.
