Michael Chammas imploded on Footy Talk as he critiqued the situation involved New Zealand Warriors forward Addin Fonua-Blake.
LISTEN HERE:
The Dally M prop of the year has stated that he would like to return home to Sydney on compassionate and family reasons, a wish he will be granted for the 2025 season.
Whilst still contracted to the Warriors up until the end of the 2026 season, Chammas believes that Fonua-Blake should still be paid according to his current agreement, instead of seeing where he can get the most value.
“I’m gonna finish the year with a rant.
“I’m not happy!”
“I have no issue with Addin Fonua-Blake leaving the Warriors on compassionate grounds.
“But he or his manager shouldn’t be allowed to then go and start asking for more money from these other clubs.
“You want to leave the Warriors on compassionate grounds, like you left Manly on compassionate grounds?
“Then your contract should then stay!
“You shouldn’t get a cent more than what you are earning.”
