Today is the day, game 1 of the 2023 Origin games and SeaFM’s Bianca, Ben and Lakey have NRL Star Jarrod Wallace on the show. Jarrod plays for the Redcliffe Dolphins and has played 6 Origins for Queensland. He says “it’s the best time of the year” saying he will be watching tonight’s game on the Gold Coast.
However, recently Jarrod has landed himself in hot water when he posted a photo of his heavily pregnant fiancé Shannon Wells. The post had the caption “You look real good cooking our little boy, but even better when you’re washing my clothes” he wrote alongside a smiling face with hearts emoji.
Jarrod says “I think it was absolutely disgraceful that way it was taken” with strangers getting angry on behalf of his fiancé Shannon. She has even commented saying it was just an inside joke, however, Jarod is now getting death threats.
“It’s not on” he has gone to the police station as he wants people to be accountable for their words. Listen to the full story here:
