Triple M’s Gus Worland has revealed close mate and Australian Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman is in talks to be the NRL’s entertainment act for the competition’s blockbuster doubleheader in Las Vegas next season.

Worland’s revelation comes after the NRL reportedly locked in a deal to kick off the 2024 season in Las Vegas with a doubleheader as part of a long-term deal to stage matches in the United States until the end of 2028.
All eyes now turn to what the entertainment will be, with Worland revealing he’s facilitated discussions behind the scenes to have Jackman headline the event.
“He (Hugh Jackman) wants an opportunity to go and have a fantastic time,” Worland said on Triple M’s Rush Hour.
