Police Crack Down On Drug Trafficking Network In South Australia

South Australia police have cracked down on a drug trafficking network, resulting in the arrest of three individuals on serious charges.

The operation, conducted in early May, saw law enforcement officers targeting suspected drug-related activities in Broadview, Blair Athol, Ingle Farm, and Pooraka.

Police intercepted a 41-year-old Broadview man driving in the area on May 3th, discovering a quantity of heroin in his vehicle.

The individual was promptly arrested and is now facing eleven counts of trafficking heroin. 

He has been bailed to appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court on July 10th.

Local officers attended a Blair Athol residence where they allegedly uncovered $4000 in cash along with drug paraphernalia on May 6th.

A 37-year-old woman residing at the address was also arrested and charged with 24 counts of drug trafficking. 

She appeared in court and has been remanded in custody, scheduled to appear before the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on May 14th.

On the same day, SA police raided an Ingle Farm home where they found $3700 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

A 35-year-old man from the premises was charged with one count of drug trafficking and subsequently bailed to appear before the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on June 16th.

The crackdown continued on Tuesday, May 7th, with a search of a Pooraka address revealing over 400 individually packaged heroin bindles and additional drug paraphernalia.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with information to come forward and assist in the case.
