The Novacastrians had to face a record-breaking Parramatta Eels outfit that dazzled their way to the decider.
Not many tipped the Knights who finished nine points behind the minor premiers, yet Buderus explained how they were able to stun the Eels and the rugby league world.
“Parramatta had this amazing year,” said Buderus.
“800+ points scored, 200+ against,
“Broke every record.
“They only lost two games.”
