Howie, June and Tubby were midway through some classic Curtly Ambrose yarns on Triple M Cricket.
One of them came from Perth.
Howie, June and Andy Maher were all at the pub in Scarborough when Howie and Maher were trying to get home…alongside Curtly Ambrose.
And so as the cab rolled up…
“I think ‘Mahery’ almost snipped Curtly’s cab, and he said something along the lines to Curtly of ‘you’ll be right, big fella’,” Howie laughed.
“Big Curtly was not impressed…”
