Triple M Cricket’s Greg Blewett says that Adelaide Oval is set for a prime time Test match after next summer.

“I think in the future we’re gonna see in Adelaide, lock it in, the last Test match before the Boxing Day Test match,” Blewey said on the Rush Hour with Bernie, Blewey and Jars.
“So the last Test before Christmas… getting late into December, so that’ll be, I think, a regular in the cricket summer.”

This isn’t the first time Blewey has had the inside word on the timing of Tests in South Australia.
Earlier this month the former Test all-rounder revealed that there will be a return to a traditional date for Adelaide Oval for the 2023/24 summer.
“We (Adelaide) will get the fifth Test, which will be the Australia Day [match],” Blewey said on the Rush Hour on the 3rd of February.
“I thought it was gonna be the 21st (of January), but I think it might be starting a little bit later and include Australia Day.”
