Triple M Cricket’s Greg Blewett has questioned the wisdom of not selecting a back up all rounder for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in India.
“My question is why wasn’t there another all-rounder picked, knowing that Cameron Green was not gonna play the first Test?” Blewey asked on the Rush Hour with Bernie, Blewey and Jars.
“Now he’s in serious doubt of not playing this Test.
“We’re gonna be halfway through the series and not been able to play the balance of side we want to.”

Blewey named some players he’d have been inclined to take to India.
“I’m looking at guys like Aaron Hardie, who’s an exceptional cricketer, averages 44 in first class cricket and under 30 with the ball, so he could have done a decent job,” he said.
“And our own (South Australia’s) Nathan McAndrew, who’s just taken wickets in the last Shield game, averages 35 with the bat and 31 with the ball.”
Blewey also previewed second Test in Delhi starting today.
