Brad Haddin’s Hilarious Story About Getting Inside The Head Of Billy Bowden

Billy Bowden is one of the most charismatic umpires ever to set foot on a cricket pitch.

According to Brad Haddin, he was also one of the most fun.

That’s because he figured out a way to get under his skin, and inside his head, and use it to get wickets.

“He used to get really worried about the reports from the captain, whether Ricky Ponting or Michael Clarke were going to write a good report,” he told Willow Talk.

“He was very ambitious, he wanted to get up the chain.

“So when a Test match or a one-dayer used to get close…”
