Brendan Fevola undergoing an MRI scan

Brendan Fevola Undergoes MRI Scan Following Gary Ablett Sr Brain Damage Diagnosis

It was revealed last Friday that AFL great Gary Ablett Sr has been diagnosed with ‘significant brain damage’ following multiple head clashes during his illustrious 1031-goal career.

This has come as devastating news to the AFL community, including Carlton-forward legend and Fifi, Fev & Nick’s Brendan Fevola who has clocked up an impressive 204-game career, and many head knocks in the process.

As a result, Fevola has taken it upon himself to undergo an MRI scan to detect chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a common brain disorder for past athletes linked to repeated blows to the head.
