One of the main protagonists on day five at Lord’s was Stuart Broad, who went out of his way to let his feelings known that he wasn’t a fan of Jonny Bairstow’s controversial dismissal.
Bairstow was controversially, but correctly, given out stumped in the first session on Sunday, but when Broad came to the crease he gave it to the Aussies and fired up the Lord’s crowd, which certainly caught the eye of former Aussie gloveman Brad Haddin.

“Broady, he was on one, wasn’t he?,” Stokes said.
“He was really on one.
“It’s not the first time he’s been expressive with his body language or niggle towards the opposition.
“If you look at the situation of the game when he came out I think he needed that. He wanted to get into the game, to pick a battle.
“I was about to say with someone but he picked the whole Australian cricket team.”
