Look away, Aussie fans. Day two at Old Trafford was dominated by England, led by opener Zak Crawley and his magnificent, brutal innings of 189.
England lead by 67 runs with six wickets in hand as Pat Cummins and his team had their worst day of the Ashes tour, with an injury scare to Mitch Starc to boot (well, to his shoulder). Adam Peacock and Sam Ferris wrap up all the action and quietly start praying for rain.

England assistant coach Daniel Vettori downplayed the role of forecast showers possibly saving the Australians on the weekend.
“It all leads to batting exceptionally well in the third innings, that’s what will set up the rest of the game as well as how well we bowl tomorrow,” Vettori said.
“We won’t have a chance to have a say on the result unless we do the next day well.
England are in control, but if we can come in and get those final wickets for as few runs (as possible), then it sets up for that final innings and the weather may play a part in that.”
