The Mick Malthouse Conversation That Helped Heath Shaw Win An Anzac Day Medal

There was a message or two from Mick Malthouse that helped steer Heath Shaw to a best on ground performance on Anzac Day in 2007.

Shaw racked up 32 disposals playing off James Hird – who won the Anzac Day medal three times – and reminisced on his performance with Daisy Thomas on Footy Talk.

“Below the premiership, it’s the number two (accolade),” he told Daisy.
