Richmond’s Nathan Broad believes players are “not too sure” where to go after numerous suspensions for dangerous tackles this season.
Broad joined Joey Montagna to co-host Footy Talk midway through his suspension for a dangerous tackle on Adelaide’s Patrick Parnell, which saw him suspended for four weeks.
While Broad totally agrees with his suspension, he believes some others – such as Will Day – have been “pretty stiff”.
“My tackle is not on, because obviously I’ve got him and it’s the second motion,” he said on Footy Talk.
“So we do need to stamp that out of the game. But you look at like a Will Day’s one…the game’s so fast paced, those things are going to happen.”
Footy Talk isn’t missing a moment of footy this season, with Dale Thomas, Leigh Montagna, Abbey Holmes, Nick Riewoldt and more! New episodes every day at lunchtime – listen for FREE on the LiSTNR app.
