Leading footy journo Jay Clark got kicked out of Melbourne training during the week, and explained on Footy Talk how he ended up having to watch the end of the session stood on top of a bin.
JAY CLARK EXPLAINS GETTING BOOTED FROM MELBOURNE TRAINING:
“I was watching the warm up, and they were trying to hide the whole Steven May thing,” Jay said.
“He was walking around like an 80-year-old man, it was pretty easy to see, right?
“And then as he jumps on the exercise bike I’m like ‘I wonder what’s wrong with Steven May?’
“So the Dees warm up, they’re starting to do the match sim, then Goody (Simon Goodwin) who I get along great with, kicks me out and says ‘you gotta get out!’.”

Jay explained he ended up having to take to a bin to catch the end of the session.
“I had to, I dunno, go two metres backwards and stand behind the fence like it was a set of prison bars, and then I just jumped up on a bin,” he said.
“It was actually alright with a bit more height!”
Joey Montagna joined Jay on Footy Talk and discussed all the fallout from Collingwood’s inspiring win over reigning premiers Geelong, the MCG turf, and more.
