Jude Bolton has labelled Sydney’s performance against Geelong as “insipid” on the latest episode of Footy Talk.
Jude joined Abbey Holmes on the show and reviewed the grand final rematch, in which Sydney lost by 93 points, after losing last year’s grand final by 81.
The Swans didn’t kick a goal after half time – and Jude wasn’t happy.
“Yes, they can talk about injuries to key position players and the like,” he began.
“But the likes of, say, St Kilda have had an enormous number of injuries and they’ve been able to go out there and put in performances that warrant true effort.
“The injuries haven’t come in the midfield, but they were belted…in the midfield, from stoppage and from clearance.”
