They were written off as bottom four fodder but the Green Machine have surprised everybody with impressive back to back wins to start the season.
Ricky Stuart joined Triple M’s Sunday Sin Bin and was able to shed some light on the mentality of the Raiders.
“Every, every team is desperate that week whether your six in a row winning or three in a row losing” said Stuart
“Each coach is desperate to win no matter where you are on the table, so we take every game as a must win.”
When pressed if their round 3 clash against the Warriors was where he could benchmark where his team is at Sticky didn’t mince words as usual.
“No I don’t benchmark them you blokes do that, and you’ve done a really good job of it too because we’re not going to make the eight.”
