Annika Smethurst, a fellow co-host on The Briefing and The Age’s political journalist joins as our special guest on today’s episode to discuss where Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s public favouring is really at.
The multi-award-winning journalist is also the author of Scomo’s biography, The Accidental Prime Minister, which delved into the former marketing man’s bizarre rise to the top job.
“People might mock him, washing hair and things like this, but I’ve travelled with a lot of prime ministers and opposition leaders on the road and he’s actually incredible at that one-on-one chatting with people and I think he might be over to narrow this gap.”
– Annika Smethurst
