Tragedy Strikes In Mildura As 18-Year-Old Stabbed To Death

A 17-year-old girl has been charged with murder after an 18-year-old man was stabbed to death at a Mildura home early during the weekend. 

The victim, identified as Seb O’Halloran, a resident of Irymple in Victoria’s far north-west, met a tragic end early on Saturday morning.

Emergency services rushed to a residence on Limpidi Drive in Mildura at approximately 1:05am in response to a distress call.

They discovered the 18-year-old man, who had sustained a fatal stab wound.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics to save his life, O’Halloran tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined but (the) parties involved are known to each other,” police told The Age.

The tragic incident has left a deep impact on those who knew Seb O’Halloran, who will be remembered as a caring and loyal friend.

One of his friends, Damon Burke, said: “(I’ll) forever cherish the moments we spent together. I’ll see you soon.” 

The 17-year-old girl in custody will appear at a children’s court later.
