Taylor Swift’s Private Jet Faces Delay Amid Sydney Storms

Taylor Swift’s arrival in Sydney was met with delays and tumultuous weather as her private jet touched down just before 1:30pm amidst wild storms pounding the city.

Departing Melbourne around midday on Monday, the superstar faced a delay of over 20 minutes, witnessed by more than 3000 fans tracking her flight on FlightRadar24.

The delay was attributed to the heavy storm activity, which also affected other scheduled arrivals in Sydney, leading to cancellations and diversions of several flights.

According to a spokesperson from Sydney Airport, the severe thunderstorms caused significant disruptions.

“We encourage passengers to check with their airline regarding the status of their flight,” they said.

Upon landing, Swift is expected to join a convoy of cars en route to her accommodations at Crown in Barangaroo.

The 34-year-old songstress is set to perform four shows in Sydney starting from Friday before continuing her tour in Singapore.

Swift announced a change in her performance style during her recent show in Melbourne.

She expressed her desire for more creative freedom by revising her rule of never performing the same acoustic ‘Surprise Song’ more than once on her Eras Tour.

“I want to be as creative as possible with the acoustic set moving forward and I don’t want to limit anything or say, ‘if I played this song, I can’t play it again'”, she said.

The announcement was met with enthusiastic applause from the crowd.

“So, from now on, I don’t want to take any paint colours out of the paintbox or tools out of the toolbox.”
