Authorities are on the lookout for a 21-year-old man who is alleged to have escaped from a minimum-security prison in NSW.
James White is alleged to have escaped from a Cooma prison at around 4:40PM on Monday afternoon.
According to authorities, White is described as around 170cm tall, of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander descent with a light build and black hair.
White was last seen wearing an orange, Hi-vis jacket over a light-coloured shirt with shorts.
Police are reaching out to the public for information as to his possible whereabouts.
White may be travelling to either Sydney or Guildford.
While police are urging anyone with information to come forward, they are asking the public not to approach him and to immediately contact triple zero.
