Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway is set to relocate to Australia in August 2025 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney.
The 21-year-old, second in line to the Norwegian throne, will focus on international relations and political economy during her three-year degree.

The Norwegian Royal House confirmed that Princess Alexandra will be studying full-time and residing in on-campus student accommodation.
“Her royal highness looks forward to dedicating herself to her studies in the years to come,” said in a statement from the palace.
Kirsten Andrews, Vice President of the University of Sydney, expressed the institution’s enthusiasm: “We hope the Princess makes the most of our beautiful grounds and surrounds, clubs and societies, as well as our proximity to the best Sydney has to offer.”
Before Princess Alexandra’s move, she completed 15 months of military service at the Engineer Battalion in Måslev, Norway.
She served as an engineer soldier and rifleman, earning the Medal of Security.
