Comedian and actor Magda Szubanski has revealed she is battling stage 4 blood cancer.
In a video posted to social media, the 64-year-old said she had been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lymphoma.
“It’s pretty confronting,” she said.
“But new treatments keep coming down the pipeline constantly.”

Szubanski said she has started the Nordic protocol, a chemotherapy regimen commonly used to treat Mantle Cell Lymphoma.
The Australian entertainer is best known for her role as Esme Hoggett in the international hit film Babe, and for portraying netball enthusiast Sharon Strzelecki in the iconic comedy series Kath & Kim.
Her career spans more than two decades across film, television and stage.
Fans and fellow performers have flooded her social media with messages of support.
