Nine people have been shot during an altercation between two groups of people in Hollywood, Florida today.
One person has been arrested in relation to the incident with police still searching for a second person of interest.
Live footage of the incident showed dozens of people running down the boardwalk away from the gunfire.
Nine people are believed to have suffered gunshot wounds and have since been transported to hospital.
There have so far been no confirmed deaths in relation to the incident.
Officials have declared the incident a mass shooting due to the significant number of casualties.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
