With just over 24 hours left until game 1 of the 2023 State of Origin games Ben Hannant from SeaFM’s Bianca, Ben and Lakey gives the lowdown on the lead-up to the games.
Ben, a former Origin great for Queensland says that this time of the year both camps come out with “fake stories” to get in the media. At the moment the big story is NSW halfback Nathan Clearly having a “toothache” and might not play game 1. However, Ben then admits that when he was playing the coach would ask “who wants to be sick to go in the media”.
