According to a court document on Monday, Mr Trump agreed not to intimidate or threaten witnesses in the case, including through posts or reposts on social media.

“The Defendant shall perform no act to intimidate any person known to him or her to be a co-defendant or a witness in this case or otherwise obstruct the administration of justice,” said in the court documents.

“The Defendant shall make no direct or indirect threat of any nature against any witness,” including 30 unnamed co-conspirators in the indictment, the agreement said.

On Monday, several other defendants also reached bond agreements with the district attorney’s office.

John Eastman, a law professor who advised Mr Trump in his attempt to overturn his defeat by Joe Biden in 2020, saw bond set at $100,000, requiring him to post $10,000.

Mr Eastman was charged with misstating claims about election fraud to Georgia lawmakers and in a federal lawsuit he and Mr Trump filed.

Kenneth Chesebro, one of the legal architects for Mr Trump’s attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election, witnessed bond at $100,000, requiring him to post $10,000.
