On Monday, NSW Police executed a search warrant at his Sydney harbourside home and Jones was taken to Day Street Police Station.
The charges included 11 counts of aggravated indecent assault, 11 counts of assault with act of indecency, two counts of sexually touching another person without consent and two counts of common assault.
The charges, spanning 2001 to 2019, include alleged victims as young as 17.
Jones’ lawyer Chris Murphy told reporters on Monday that Jones will fight the allegations and “assert his innocence” in court.
“He denies any misconduct. This matter will be defended,” Mr Murphy said. “Mr Jones will be defending this case. He’s presumed innocent.”
Jones is expected to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on December 18.
