Australian rockers INXS launched their career just as the music video became an artform.
They smartly teamed with film maker Richard Lowenstein who directed their most acclaimed videos including What You Need, Need You Tonight, New Sensation and Need You Tonight.
However Lowenstein said there was pressure to make sure INXS videos featured all six band members, and not focus on frontman Michael Hutchence.
“I’d always get a phone call saying ‘Andrew Farriss’ grandmother can’t see him in the rough cut you sent'”
