Our very own Adrian Barich has explained why Eagles fans pay more (on average) for their tickets than any other fan group in the AFL.
He told Pete, Matt and Kymba this morning that it’s basically all down to demand.
“The reason is… they’re oversubscribed. The Eagles are so popular, there are so many members, there’s no real capacity to buy general admission seats,
“A ticket will start at about $57. If you’re in Melbourne… you can get your whole family in for $54.”
That’s arguably a bitter pill for Eagles fans to swallow, with Dockers fans only slightly better off when it comes to ticket prices.
