Surfing legend Mick Fanning joins Bianca, Ben and Lakey to give the lowdown on Mick’s big charity event this week. The Mick Fanning Charity Golf Day has become an annual event raising money for the Northern Rivers flood that happened in March 2022. The event and charity have raised $57,000 so far and this week’s golf day will see 52 big-name celebrities including Hamish and Andy, Luke Hemsworth, Matt Cook, Patty Rafter, and many more.
Mick said he went to Woodburn and Broadwater only last week and says “I was totally devastated, nothings been done really”. 80% of the residents are still not in their own homes, 15 months on.
