Sophie Monk revealed on the Carrie & Tommy Show that her very first tattoo was made possible by musician/drummer, Travis Barker… but it didn’t go as smoothly as she first thought!
Sophie’s and Travis’ friendship goes back to 2004 when the Australian singer and actress appeared in Blink-182’s music video, Always.
“The worst bit was, I just wanted MONK on the back of my neck, but when I got there, the tattoo artist had a whole tiger drawn to go up my back with like forest trees.. and then go into the MONK“
Had Travis not intervened in the process, Sophie would have been left with a huge tiger tattooed across her back, as she wanted to be polite to the tattoo artist’s suggestion and found it hard “to say no”.
