After being an absolute staple on Australian TV screens for the past 20 YEARS, and being nominated twice, Andy Lee is still yet to receive a Gold Logie Award… but will 2024 finally be his year?
In case you need a reminder, the Gold Logie is Australian television’s most prestigious award, honouring the most popular personality on our screens. Andy was nominated for the award in 2013, 2014 and 2015 for his work on Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year and Caravan of Courage series, but it yet to have won.
Now, Andy has been nominated once again, this time for his hosting role on Channel 9’s The Hundred with Andy Lee!

The boys reminisced about going head to head for the Gold Logie back in 2013 in an old episode of Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project podcast:
“Congratulations to you. I know the normal state of affairs would be that we should be very happy for each other. but we have always said the only thing we’d ever let come between us is a dual gold nomination,” Hamish joked.
“We can’t possibly be friends anymore,” Andy added. “That’s the sad thing is because as much as we joke, obviously the rule now is that we hate each other.”
