Cowboys’ winger Kyle Feldt invites teammate, number 305 Tom Chester on the show to chat about his induction into the team and his life in the lead up to where he is now.
Going from front row to full back, Chester has already shown he’s a force to be reckoned with on the field.
As a Townsville local, Chester was lucky enough to be presented with his jersey by his own parents, which he tells Feldty was a very emotional moment for him and his Dad.
“They’ve been with me the whole time. With my footy career, they’ve pretty much been to every game I’ve played so it was definitely special for them to come give me my jersey,” he said.
“The old boy was showing a couple of teary eyes when I ran out which is pretty cool.”
Chester explains how he got into footy as a kid and reveals that he became a sign writer after finishing high school, completing his trade in just three years.
The pair take a deep dive into Chester’s life off the field including how his parents feel about him being signed with the Cowboys.
