Arrest warrants have been issued for Codye Thomson, 29, and Kaine Thomson-Gleeson, 32.

The pair are believed to be camping in northern New South Wales and may be travelling in a white Holden Commodore wagon with Queensland registration 953 HO4.

Detective Inspector David Harbison said the men were interviewed early in the investigation but released due to lack of evidence.

Police now believe they have enough proof to charge the brothers.

The suspects were last seen in Chinderah, NSW, on 30 December and are thought to have visited family in Kempsey.

“Hand yourselves in to the nearest police station,” Harbison said.

“Otherwise, police will find and arrest you on our terms.”

Police believe the suspects remain together, sleeping in their vehicle.

“We consider them dangerous, they know they’re wanted for the (alleged) murder of Chloe. We fear they will go to lengths to avoid apprehension.”

Anyone who sees the men or knows their location is advised not to approach them and to call triple-0 (000) immediately.

More to come.
