Latrell Mitchell was back to his destructive best as the Bunnies put the Titans to the sword in a 46-12 thrashing.
The Rabbitohs fullback had a big game on the stats sheet, producing a try, 3 try assists and 4 line break assist in a performance that no doubt will have caught the eye of NSW coach Michael Maguire.
James Hooper thinks the vacant NSW position is Latrell’s if he reproduce the kind of display we saw against the Titans against the Broncos nest weekend.
“When Latrell is in the mood, we all saw what Latrell can do yesterday. He is more explosive and destructive than any other player in the competition when he wants to be.” said Hooper
“The challenge is doing it consistently but if he does it again next weekend against the Brisbane Broncos and South beat Brisbane, well I would be suggesting Latrell will get the saloon passage straight in to help try and save the state.”
“I’ll be interested when we finally hear from Latrell because we haven’t heard anything from him publicly for a little while.”
