Triple M’s Mark Geyer has called for the NRL to hand down heavy sanctions on Kalyn Ponga after his decision to snub the Pacific Championship at the end of the year.
On Tuesday, Ponga released a statement ruling himself out of Kangaroo selection for the end of year tournament.
“There’s got to be repercussions,” Geyer told Triple M on Wednesday.
