After suffering a grade two hamstring injury in the Panther’s game against the Dragons on Sunday, Blues halfback Nathan Cleary has been ruled out for six weeks and will be sitting out of State of Origin Game 2.
The Cleary ruling is a huge blow for Blues and the search is on now for a replacement, with whispers of potentially Nicho Hynes, Lachlan Ilias or Adam Reynolds filling the halfback position.
Broncos halfback Adam Reynolds has revealed to The Rush Hour with Leisel Jones, Liam & Dobbo that he’s happy to put his hand up to represent the Blues in State of Origin Game 2.

“Yeah definitely, I think every player aspires to play Origin. Obviously having a taste of it a number of years ago and sitting by watching all the series going past, you always want to be back in that arena.” Reynolds said.
“I’ve been mentioned in that before and didn’t get the nod. So not getting carried away or anything, just keep my head down, work hard mate and if I get that call I’d be over the moon.”
