Adam O’Brien’s Newcastle Knights have had one of the most remarkable turnarounds in recent memory, with Hunter based club on the verge of a preliminary final appearance.
James Graham thinks that Newcastle need to lock up their once embattled coach to a long term deal before any other club gets a chance to poach him.
“It’s no secret the Knights were looking elsewhere…how the tables have turned.” said Graham.
“He’s in for an extension to become the Knights longest serving coach.”
“He’s sought after, we look at clubs that would be looking at maybe making a change at the top well Adam O’Brien’s the guy you go to so the Knights need to shore him up.”
