Xavier Ellis Explains His Four Point Plan For Fremantle To Play Finals

Xavier Ellis explained his four point plan to get Fremantle into the finals on Xav & Michelle for Breakfast this morning, adapted from his column in the West Australian.

XAVIER ELLIS EXPLAINS HIS FOUR POINT PLAN FOR FREMANTLE TO MAKE FINALS:

“I had a little look at the Fremantle four issues especially going into the next four games with Melbourne who are a top four side, the Bulldogs on the road, the Suns… and Sydney Swans who are premiership favourites.”

“They’ve got four big weeks coming up, and if they don’t adjust some of these things, I think they’re gonna find it hard to go on and make it deep in the finals”, Xav explained.

Xav’s four points summarised:

POINT 1: Game style — they kick the ball laterally to defenders too often
POINT 2: Nat Fyfe — be sub or be subbed off
POINT 3: Nail down the ruck — is the Sean Darcy/Luke Jackson combination working effectively?
POINT 4: Jye Amiss — get him in the play by putting him further up the ground nearer the ball
