Ryan Daniels proposed that the umpires modify the rule on deliberate out-of-bounds free kicks during the sounding of the siren, following Fremantle’s 1-point loss to North Melbourne wherein they were not granted a free kick in the final second via Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.
“To the letter of he law they made the right call,” Ryan said on Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.
“It didn’t feel right, it felt a bit gross that that was the call… I would like to see them change that.”
